Helping One Guy Honors Brett McIntyre

Brett McIntyre is a devoted husband, father, and professional with over 15 years of experience in in-home sales. At 43 years old, he is the proud father of four children and has been married to his wife, Alicia, for 13 years.

Brett has built a successful career working as a professional in-home sales representative, and he currently serves with Five Star Bath Solutions, specializing in shower and bathroom remodels. About four years ago, driven by a desire to help families in difficult circumstances, Brett and his wife launched a real estate company focused on assisting homeowners at risk of losing their properties. Through this work, they were able to help people avoid bankruptcy, foreclosure, and homelessness. A year later, Brett expanded his skills by earning his real estate license, further broadening his ability to serve clients and their families.

Beyond his professional career, Brett has been deeply involved in his community. He has served as the HOA president of his neighborhood and as a youth leader at his family’s church in Woodstock, reflecting his commitment to service, leadership, and mentorship.

Life took a major turn when Alicia was diagnosed with Stage four colon cancer that has spread to her liver. Brett has adjusted his work and daily responsibilities to focus on caring for his wife and supporting their family. With Alicia no longer able to work or drive, Brett shifted his full-time job into part-time work and scaled back his real estate business. Despite these challenges, he and Alicia remain dedicated to giving their four children as much normalcy as possible, ensuring they continue to participate in activities like football and baseball.

Brett and Alicia have always been willing to step up — whether volunteering at their neighborhood events, supporting local schools, or serving in their church. As a school nurse and an active community member, Alicia has always dedicated herself to caring for others.

Through all of this, Brett has leaned on his faith, his family, and the incredible support network surrounding them. As he often says, “God is great!”
